BEHIND THE DESIGN
By focussing on the eyes, bright with expression, this piece illustrates the feeling of cautious optimism.
That optimism has multiple perspectives. Optimism felt by nature lovers hoping for a brighter future for our wild spaces and creatures. Optimism by the bobcat as they track their prey. Optimism by past hunters who would have used the meat for fuel, coat for warmth.

Unframed original, created with ink on fine art paper. For added texture, the top side of the paper has a torn effect, the right side is cut to a curve to mimic the loose fur.
