Behind the art

The grizzly bear is an iconic North American animal. This one is posed standing, looking off into the distance — alert. This piece serves as a gentle reminder of mankind’s interruption and impact on wildlife.

Additional details

Framed original, made with ink on tan fine art paper. The left edge is torn for added texture. The frame has a weathered effect, and the bare wood picks up on the tan paper creating dimension. The artwork is floated in the custom frame, which is made with museum-grade glass.
