Behind the Design
Children often look up to their mothers, and it’s no different with this bear cub. The bond between mother and cub is shown through facial expressions as well as similar designs and imagery. Both mother and cub reflect their environment — the cub through the trees, the mother through wildflowers and mountains. The mother also has a hidden sun setting over a lake, while the cub has the moon. More subtle details, such as the dripping effect on the outline of the ears, also show the familial connection.
